1990 An Elementary School Counselor and have been serving with my wife (Lisa McCloud Barnett '88) as the Co-Director of the Englishton Park Children's Program--following Dr.Rawson's retirement.
Karen (Leist) Bassett
Just wanted to say hi and let you know that on 9/1/01 I took and passed my clinical social work exam, so I will soon be officially licensed as an LCSW.  I'm still at Counseling Associates, and I really love my job.
Anna Black 1990 I am now in private practice as a child and adolescent therapist.  I am working on my doctorate in psych.
Barry Boyles 
1987 After receiving my Masters Degree in I/O Psychology from Mississippi State University have now moved on to Denver, CO where I am Vice President of Human Resources for the Colorado Credit Union League, a trade association for credit unions in Colorado and Wyoming.  Serve both internal HR needs and as a consultant of sorts for credit unions on all HR subjects.

Jo Ellen Carl MA LCPC 
1987 Current Career Visions Clinic an Outpatient Clinic through Riverside Health Systems in Kankakee IL. Specializing in Sexual Abuse Therapy for all ages, Individual and Family Therapy with Children and Adolescents.
J. C. Cassady 
1994 I finished my degree at Purdue, with a topic on learning and memory processes for text passages with examples. So, the chapter at Purdue is almost closed (I still am authoring a couple of papers with individuals there, so I have frequent contact). I started my position as asst. professor at Ball State University in the Department of Educational Psychology. I am enjoying my new position, and I am currently running down several research projects that I have not had the chance to publish, because I have been too busy collecting data in the past 3 years.
Reeshad Dalal 1998 His dissertation at the University of Illinois, Chapaign-Urbana, won the Seymour Sudman memorial award. It's an all-UIUC (i.e., any graduate student in any department at any of the campuses--Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield--is eligible) award for excellence in survey research.  Next Fall he will be joining the faculty at Purdue.

1999 I am currently working in the claims department of Great American Insurance in Cincinnati.

Rebecca Henry
1984 I am an adjunct professor in the Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I teach courses in Organizational Psychology and do research on group decision making.
David L. Jaquess, Ph.D. 
1985 I received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology for Virginia Tech in 1993. I’ve taught at various levels in several schools (Baltimore City Community College, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Ferrum College, University of Southern Indiana). I currently hold an Associate Professor of Pediatrics position in the Emory University School of Medicine. My primary role is to provide clinical teaching to graduate level psychology students and postdoctoral fellows, and I coordinate training for the Marcus Autism Center as a whole. Clinically, I serve as the Director of the interdisciplinary Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program at the Center.

Bree A. Kitchens
I will complete requirements for a masters degree in mental 
health counseling at the University of Cincinnati this June.  
I was recently admitted to the doctoral program at UC in 
counselor education and supervision to begin in fall 2005!  
I had a wonderful experience in the psych dept. at Hanover 
and would love to hear from more grads of the class of 2003!

Kirsten Mills


2001 Kirsten is currently (as of Spring, 2002) finishing up work as an Information Specialist at the National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information.  She has been accepted to Boston College for a mental health counseling Masters program! She will most likely go for the 48 credit hour track, to get right into doctoral school.

1966 After Hanover, I attended The University of Georgia and earned a doctorate in biopsychology and have remained at North Georgia College and State University. I had several fraternity brothers who were psychology majors who have gone on to contribute in law, business, and psychology. Had a terrific experience at Hanover and particularly in psychology.
Megan Query-Roth
I am a 1992 graduate of Hanover.  I then received my MSW from IU and am a licensed Social Worker.  After working in child welfare, specifically therapeutic foster care, for a number of years, I then worked in Mental Health.  I have had a, second child, moved out to the “burbs” of Indianapolis, and am now in business for myself as a consultant. My current clients include the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Information and Referral Network. I am still teaching undergrad. Social work courses part-time at Butler University.
Gerald W. Ritter
1967 I graduated from Hanover College in 1967 with a major in psychology.  I received my Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 1973.  I am presently a Professor of Psychology at Alcorn State University in Mississippi where I have been for the past 26 years.
Maggie Rivette
1998 I have an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and am in my last year of the Psy.D. program at Spalding University.  I work as a behavioral therapist with children with Autism and related disorders.

1993 Received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently an Assistant Professor and Truman State University.
Maggie (Tate) Whitt

I am a Family Specialist at Homes4Good, which is an adoption/foster care agency in Waco, Texas.  I place children in foster or adoptive homes.  All of the children I deal with were removed from their biological homes due to abuse or neglect, and most of these children are therapeutic.  I am responsible for recruiting, training and verifying foster or adoptive homes and coordinating the services of the children I place.

Mona Worful


1997 After too many years, I have finally found my "calling". I am a Director for Community Relations for an assisted living home in Indianapolis (why did we not have a gerontology class at Hanover?)...I love the older individuals I work with, as well as their families, physicians, etc. I have been a leading volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association, and also an adult day care.
