In machine output needs to match human inputs,

The machine inputs needs to match human output capability. - e.g. lathe.

Multiple targets mean that to know one brain path it to know the sensory system incompletely.

We do not know how this combination is accomplished. Nor is it likely to be complete.

For normal young adults, they hear frequencies from 20 to 20,000 Hz.

NOTE: all amplitude measurements are relative measures - not absolute. They compare one sound against another.

SPL is not always indicated but should be.
